NANADA MUSIC B.V. is one of Holland’s oldest independent music publishers around. Founded in April 1968 by Willem van Kooten (for the radio freaks: Radio Veronica DJ Mister Joost Den Draaijer).
Since, NANADA has gathered a great amount of musical treasures in its portfolio, among which a large number of gigantic international hits dating back to the last century – like SHOCKING BLUE’s “VENUS”, FOCUS “HOCUS POCUS”, TEACH IN’s “DING A DONG”, EARTH & FIRE’s “WEEKEND” and the STARS ON 45 project.
We also represent a number of very popular compositions in Dutch, such as ANDRÉ HAZES’ “EEN BEETJE VERLIEFD”, ANDRÉ VAN DUIN’s “SAMBABALLENSAMBA”, RAMSES SHAFFY’s “JOSJE” and HET GOEDE DOEL’s “BELGIË”.
Most people do not realize that songs are not just successful because of the great artists recording them, but mainly because of those talented men and women writing the music and lyrics to those hits.
