Today whole World suffers from the food waste. Approximately 30% of fresh fruits and vegetables are lost before coming to the stall. Economic impact of mentioned losses is beyond 1.3 Billion $ annually. In traditional preservation, very harmful chemicals and their synthetic derivatives are used for protection; however, their usage is limited because of their negative effects to the human. Amounts allowed for usage are not sufficient for the long-term protection. These chemicals and harmful microorganism toxins are the main problems for the export of agricultural products because of their harmful effects to human and nature.
Our company Nanomik aims to show that all food and agricultural products can be protected naturally without harmful chemicals and food waste can be decreased to the minimal levels.
