Narayani Agritech Foundation is a promoter, producer and contractee of tech-enabled, intensive pisciculture and cash-crops such as Foxnut and Salicornia.
Based in Cuttack, Odisha, the Foundation has landbanks suitable for aquaculture and tourism, located near lake Chilika, the largest brackish water lagoon in Asia and the second largest coastal lagoon in the world.
Promoted by Charudatta Maharatha, an entrepreneur with professional network in India, Japan, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, and Czechia, the Foundation brings together a team of veterans from Odisha's largest trade hub of freshwater and brakish water fish, shrimp and crab.
The flagship project of the Foundation is a freshwater shrimp farm with a 10 tonne production capacity. Located near Konark, a globally renowned tourist destination, the farm boasts of fertile soil suitable for culture of high quality prawns.
The foundation's social outreach initiative is to generate livlihood for women and promote Millet.
