كانت ولادة ناردين عام 1982 م في عالم الإنارة كمؤسسة تطمح إلى الكثير من التطور وإلى العديد من الأهداف الكبرى حتى اصبحت شركة ذات مسؤولية محدودة ممثلة لأشهر وكالات الإنارة العالمية في المملكة، ولم يقتصر نشاط ناردين على تمثيل الوكالات العالمية واستيراد منتجاتها، بل كان من أهدافها الأساسية التقليل من حجم استيراد أجهزة الإنارة والعمل على توطينها وانتاجها محليا، حتى أثمرت جهودها المتواصلة لمواكبة مسيرة التطور في المملكة بإقامة مصنع ضخم لإنتاج جميع وحدات الانارة الداخلية والخارجية وخدمة جميع عملائها في قطاعي العام والخاص، وذلك بما يتوافق لمواصفات ومعايير الهيئة السعودية للمواصفات والمقاييس والجودة والمواصفات العالمية.
وبكل فخر اصبحت حاليا شركة ناردين للانارة المحدودة هي احد شركات شركة سجنيفاي السعودية (شركة فيليبس للانارة السعودية سابقا)
