De Stichting Nationaal Congres Duits organiseert het tweejaarlijkse 'NCD' en heeft daarbij als doelstelling om docenten Duits zich volop te laten ontwikkelen en professionaliseren. Daarnaast is op het congres sterk de verbinding en uitwisseling tussen docenten Duits vertegenwoordigd.
Op 6 en 7 maart 2026 zal in conferentiecentrum NH Leeuwenhorst (Noordwijkerhout) het eerstvolgende NCD plaatsvinden.
Het bestuur is eindverantwoordelijk voor de Stichting Nationaal Congres Duits en geeft de dagelijkse leiding aan de organisatie.
De congrescommissie heeft als taak om het congres te organiseren en legt daarbij verantwoording af aan het bestuur van de Stichting Nationaal Congres Duits.
