The National Environment Trust Fund is a state corporation under the ministry of Environment and Natural resources. NETFUND was established within the provisions of the Environmental management and Coordination Act(EMCA) 1999 now Cap 387 to facilitate research intended to further the requirements of environmental management, capacity building, environmental awards, environmental publications , scholarships and grants.

NETFUND Mission: To mobilize, manage and avail resources for environmental awards, capacity building, research and publications, scholarships and grants in Kenya.
