The Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency launched a project in 2017 to establish a permanent system for pollutant inventory in cooperation with the Center for Advancement of Post-Graduate Studies and Research in Engineering Sciences at Cairo University.
The program aims to determine the pollution sources and loads for Air, Water, and solid waste from all governorates of Egypt, Including all sectors.
