Now in it's 15th year, National Skills Week 2025 is Australia’s premier initiative dedicated to raising the profile and status of vocational education and training (VET).
Running from 25–31 August 2025, this nationwide celebration highlights the vital role VET plays in helping Australians unlock meaningful career opportunities and supporting the current and future needs of our workforce.
Under this year’s theme, “Explore ALL the Options,” National Skills Week is about inspiring individuals of all ages to consider the many pathways available through skills-based learning—whether at school, post-school, mid-career, or later in life. Through industry collaboration, events, and story-sharing, we aim to challenge outdated perceptions, spotlight success stories, and promote the diversity, relevance, and value of VET across every sector of the economy.
