The NATO Science & Technology Organization (STO), with its network of more than 5,000 Scientists and Engineers in allied and partner nations and with more than 300 projects per year, supports NATO technological advancement.
The STO is comprised of The Science and Technology Board (STB), scientific and technical committees as well as three executive bodies. These three bodies are: the Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS), the Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation (CMRE), and the Collaboration Support Office (CSO)
