In addition to antiviral effects, our natural formulation has functional effects and as an ingredient it will generate added value to high-end and functional cosmetics. The antiviral ingredient is also usable as disinfectant against a broad range of viruses. Production of the ingredient is cost-efficient and upscalable.
The preparation of commercialization of this novel antiviral solution is funded by Business Finland, Natural Resources Institute Finland and University of Jyväskylä. This project is led by experts on both viral efficacy and bioprocessing.
