Tamara earned her guide certification from the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and holds a current Wilderness First Aid and CPR certification. She is also a proud member of the Outdoorist Oath community, dedicated to planet, inclusion and adventure. Her “day job” is providing communications consulting to nonprofits, which means she is a human navigating the pressures of modern life like the rest of us. She started Nature Connection Santa Barbara because nature has always been the place where she feels alive and most like herself. She is passionate about introducing others to being in nature in whatever way feels right for them.
