Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) Overview

When the Holy Cross Catholic missionaries established Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) in 2013, they were carrying forward the educational work of Holy Cross that began in East Bengal more than 150 years ago. The university is dedicated to academic excellence as it seeks to provide its students with professional skills that will prepare them for success careers. In addition, NDUB aims to help students acquire the wisdoms, vision, and awareness needed in today’s global community. This University is a safe place to be. NDUB has “safe-guarding policy” which assures that everyone is treated with respect. The faculty of this University is competent and available to students. Classes are held and good instruction is given. Students are challenged and are helped as well. At this University English is given special importance and we work to increase the English language capacity of every student. The motto of the University is “The competence to see and the courage to act”. That is, “Bright Minds and Bold Hearts”. That is what this University strives to see in every student.
