Near was born in 2011 and is one of the 1st Italian Social Business companies, whose purpose is to finance relevant and socially useful projects in the territory, usually linked to children and youth.
Near’s Mission comes from a dream: the deep desire to create an innovative, modern and different business together with a new distribution channels, that can effectively improve and help our society, especially those that have less and suffer.The concept is that a company that creates value makes it available to others who have real needs, thus working not only for the interest of the individual but for the entire community.
Near works through innovative distribution channels:
-Temporary Outlet of high level fashion brands inside the companies and different enterprises
-The 1st outlet on-line in Italy with social purposes : www.nearshopping.it
-The 1st social outlet (in progress) in Italy of high level fashion brands
Philosophy & mechanism are the same: A social project is chosen and Near is funding it through the selling of the products. Immediately 5% of the proceeds of the sale is assigned to this project. Moreover, at the end of the year, Near will give to the Near Foundation more than 50% of the company’s income that will then be used to finance the on going projects.
The initiators are the entrepreneur Bill Niada, founder of Fifty Group & President of “The Magica Cleme Foundation”, and Giuseppe Lassotovitch, ex CEO of Glenfield & CEO and Chairman of ROSSIMODA SpA,
