Nectar Loyalty is data-driven marketing and loyalty analytics company owned by the Sainsbury’s Group. It is most well-known for running the Nectar programme, the UK’s largest loyalty coalition programme with partners including Sainsbury’s BP, eBay, Expedia and Virgin Trains. In 2017, Nectar celebrated 15 years of rewarding British shoppers and has given back £3billion of rewards to collectors, including money off shopping, travel and cinema tickets. Twenty million collectors earn Nectar points when shopping for groceries, booking a holiday and buying petrol. Collectors also earn Nectar points every time they shop online via nectar.com at around 500 leading online retailers. Nectar Loyalty also owns Insight 2 Communication (i2c) which offers Sainsbury’s suppliers a ‘one stop shop’ solution to advertise across all of Sainsbury’s communication channels.
