Nelson Airport is New Zealand’s busiest regional airport. About 900,000 passengers pass through our terminal every year.
We serve four airlines including our national carrier Air New Zealand, Originair, Sounds Air and Golden Bay Air.
Right in the centre of New Zealand, at the top of the South Island, Nelson Airport is the doorstep to the beautiful and thriving Nelson Tasman region and gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park.
And we are much more than an airport. We work closely with local agencies and businesses to support tourism and the growth of the regional economy.
We’re home to Air New Zealand’s Regional Maintenance hub which provides world class engineering services to airlines from throughout Australasia and the Pacific.
