NEMA Ensemble is a contemporary music group based in Naples, Italy.
Driven by a strong curatorial identity, NEMA brings together young musicians with a shared vision: combining artistic research with accessibility, performance rigor with interdisciplinary openness.
The ensemble curates and performs original programs that explore new sounds, recontextualize classical heritage, and engage with today’s aesthetics.
Recent projects include ReMozart (a multilingual reimagining of Mozart through new commissions), BachBjörk (a cross-genre experience between baroque and avant-pop), and Afterlight (a poetic sound ritual blending Cilio, Scelsi, Radiohead, and Battiato).
NEMA has performed at prestigious venues such as Accademia Chigiana, Fondazione Pietà de’ Turchini, Bank Austria Salon (Vienna), and Accademia Filarmonica Romana.
