NEMDA is a network led by migrant women that advocates for ethnic minority women experiencing Domestic, Sexual, and Gender-Based Violence (DSGBV). The network leverages the lived experiences and expertise of its members to address the unique challenges faced by ethnic minority women, increase access to support services, and foster collaborative efforts to enhance service delivery and policy advocacy.
NEMDA was established following the initiative of the Ethnic Minority Community Development Project by Offaly Domestic Violence Support Service (ODVSS). This project, funded by Cuan, aims to understand and address the barriers ethnic minority women face in accessing domestic violence support services.
