NeoRestoration Foundation Overview

NeoRestoration Foundation was founded in 2017 by Ellizzette Duvall McDonald in honor of her husband, John W. McDonald III MD PhD, who is the pioneer in spinal cord injury (SCI) and stem cell research. His research has led to multiple discoveries, patents and protocols, such the currently universally used activity-based-restorative-therapy (ABRT) in treating spinal cord injury. He has developed and perfected multiple other modalities in the field of neuroscience and neurology. Today his historical groundbreaking work and legacy continues among his collaborators. Our goal at NeoRestoration Foundation is funding the best scientist, physicians, and bio-engineers to cure spinal cord injury and to assist in various ways, moving the science forward through improvements in technology whilst addressing necessary policy changes that assist those living with SCI. NRF is a registered 501 3(c) and is headquartered in New York City, with offices in St. Louis. 100% of all donations go directly to research.
