Red-ALERT is a UKRI (NERC) Centre for Doctoral Training, striving to reverse global environmental degradation and better protect both wildlife and human health.
We are a partnership consisting of the University of Bath, Bangor University, Cardiff University, University of Exeter, and the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, with a wide range of industrial partners who provide essential support to our students and research activity - https://www.redalert-cdt.ac.uk/
Our first cohort of doctoral students joined us in 2024, with our second cohort due to join us in October 2025. We look forward to being able to provide updates on the research activity of the centre.
