The Networking and Development Centre for Service Organizations (NDSO) is a nonprofit collective dedicated to empowering grassroots communities across Tamil Nadu. Established in 2005 and formally registered in 2008, NDSO has built a vibrant network of over 2,000+ NGOs, working together to create lasting social impact through collaboration, capacity building, and inclusive development.
NDSO’s initiatives span education, livelihood support, tribal empowerment, disaster relief, healthcare, and the revival of traditional arts. From restoring lives after natural calamities to uplifting tribal communities like the Irular and Kaani, and enabling first-generation learners through the Kalvikudil (MGTC) program, NDSO continues to be a beacon of hope and change.
Guided by visionary leaders and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), NDSO operates a cluster-based approach that ensures region-specific solutions and sustainable development.
