I have over 12 years of experience as a certified practising speech pathologist with specialist skills in assisting adult clients who may have a swallowing (dysphagia) or communication impairment in the presence of a progressive neurological condition (i.e. MND, PD, Huntington's disease) or an acquired brain injury (i.e. stroke, traumatic brain injury). I have extensive experience in the functional implementation of assistive technology (such as AAC) to assist communication, and I am also SPEAK OUT!® certified. My passion is in assisting clients to set functional goals to optimise their quality of life to ensure meaningful interactions, conversations and meal times.
