The GBC-NORCAT Mine Skills Training (MST) facility aims to empower the mining industry with cutting-edge skills, safety training, and innovative technologies.
Through a partnership between Great Basin College (GBC) and NORCAT, the new facility located in Elko, Nevada is dedicated to preparing the next generation of mining professionals while supporting operational excellence across the industry.
Comprehensive programs combine world-class instruction with state-of-the-art training environments, including immersive VR and simulation technologies. From new worker orientation to advanced operational training, participants gain the knowledge and tools needed to thrive in one of the world’s most dynamic industries.
This Project is funded in part by the State of Nevada’s Workforce Innovations for a New Nevada Fund, administered by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
