New Directions is a progressive community based charity supporting vulnerable people including those with physical and learning disabilities. The charity invests both in its staff and in offering a wide range of quality services to its customers, their families and carers.
HRH Prince Edward, The Earl of Wessex officially opened our Supported Living housing complex in October 2014. Other vital services provided by the charity are Home Care Support, Short Stay/ Respite/ Holiday Breaks, Day Activities/ Opportunities (Community Choices Network), Transition Support (from adolescence to adulthood), Residential Services and Dementia Support.
The people that we support are at the heart of everything we do, we always listen to what they want and provide flexible individually tailored support that meets their needs and wishes.
Our mission is to make a positive difference to the lives of people with a learning disability, their family and carers by promoting their rights, choices and inclusion through support and opportunities that enable them to live fulfilling lives.
