We are a collective of educators, designers and policy makers We are creating a New Art & Design School rooted in the values, ideals, and knowledge that shapes our practice. Our mission is to re-energise the spirit of the Bauhaus, Black Mountain College, and other pioneers by placing drawing and the coordination of Hand, Heart, and Eye at the centre of learning.
In today’s climate, rigid curricula and financial pressures often filter out the most imaginative thinkers, those whose ideas challenge convention. The New Art School aims to reverse this trend by cultivating creativity through drawing-based education, while integrating contemporary teaching methods, experimentation, and close collaboration with creative industries. We aim to foster the designers and artists of the future by reconnecting education with craft, curiosity, and vision.
