News-Service Europe B.V. (‘NSE’) is a former European Usenet Provider, also known as News-Service.com.
In November 2011 the Dutch anti-piracy foundation BREIN forced NSE to cease her activities based on an incorrect judgement of the district Court of Amsterdam. NSE successfully appealed the verdict at the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. BREIN appealed and on January 27 2023 the Supreme Court concluded that NSE does not infringe copyright or contribute to the copyright infringement.
