The Chapter is committed to creating a dynamic and effective communication network that connects public, private, and academic institutions with black officials. It takes a leadership role locally in developing impactful governmental programs and services while also working to increase minority representation in management positions within both the public and private sectors. Additionally, the Chapter organizes local forums for the discussion of pressing issues and topics of interest. It establishes and updates a repository of black executive talent for job openings and provides technical assistance.
