Ngaru Energy Group T/A Ngaru Wave Energy is leading the commercial development of New Zealand’s first large-scale wave energy deployment, grounded in our whakapapa and powered by partnership with CorPower Ocean, a global leader in ocean energy technology.
We are currently advancing Phase 1: a 5–10 MW commercial deployment by 2028, establishing a scalable foundation for wave energy infrastructure in Aotearoa. Our vision is bold—bring energy from the ocean, for the people, with respect to the taiao.
