NHS Research Scotland is a partnership of Scottish NHS Boards and the Chief Scientist Office (CSO) of Scottish Government, working to ensure NHS Scotland provides the best environment to support clinical research.
We support the placement, set-up and delivery of clinical research studies and innovative research collaborations across all therapy areas; accelerating the development of new treatments and technologies to improve patient care and tackle complex healthcare needs.
Our vision is to place Scotland at the international forefront of clinical research, and deliver research across NHS Scotland that will make a positive difference to patients health within Scotland, the UK and internationally. We do this by:
