Nile Living Services provides vulnerable and challenging children and young people with the best possible quality of life within a homely residential setting.
Our intention is to ensure we create an environment with the warm sense of a family home, to enable us to delivery our supportive frameworks to residents aged 16-24. These frameworks aim to help inspire develop and maintain self-reliance, to manage conflict resolutions and self-sufficiency into a path of independence.
We welcome referrals from all Local Authorities to break negative community influences such as gang affiliation, exposure to Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) and country lines. We also welcome referrals from those who are ready to be discharged from secure units, as our staff have obtained the expertise and knowledge to support those struggling with mental health, self-harming, addiction, attachment disorder, ADHD, challenging behaviours, CSE and those exiting gang culture or county lines.
Our provisions are designed to support care leaver who are ready to exit children residential services and shape their own unique pathway into early adulthood. Many care leavers begin to display signs of rejection and frustration within their current placements and begin to present obstructive behaviours, disengage and go on to form negative relations within the community. They outgrow the children residential environment and can impact those under 16 within the placement who mimic their behaviours.
