The NIxe III Project is a four year project devoted to the study of the Mediterranean. The main purpose it to update the works of Archduke Ludwig Salvator of Austria done during the 19th century. As a result from this update we expect to extract lessons for the social, cultural and environmental sustainability of the Mediterranean Sea and its countries. By 2015, 100 years after the death of the Archduke we expect to produce a commemorative work on his honour.
