No Gadgets Fun n Play is a Parent's movement born out of a need to equip and empower parents and guardians to navigate the digital world.
Research is increasingly showing that while digital devices have benefited our children with technical skills, connection, communication, and learning abilities, there have been many side effects. This includes mental health challenges, addiction, exposure to immoral content, sleep deprivation, and a decline in academic performance just to mention a few.
This led us to start a support group online for parents named "No Gadgets Fun & Play." We started on Whatsapp and after 6 months of growing to 300+ parents we're now expanding our digital footprint.
This initiative focuses on educating kids and parents on the benefits and dangers of technology. We empower and equip families with practical tools and encouragement to prevent and deal with addiction to phones, tablets, gadgets, and social media. Some of those tools include counseling, coaching, and Kids Holiday Clubs.
Our passion is to see children develop, be creative, play, have fun, be health,y and thrive in a tech world. The goal is for kids to be kids again and develop a balance between the time they spend online and the time they spend in real life.
