As founder, Noam Nayberg, is currently studying architecture design; he labels his studio practice as Noam Atelier™. This studio carries design-principles from the field of architecture that then translate into process and forms within our furniture.
We approach work as small-scale architectural projects, where the pieces are shaped by the influence that a piece of furniture can have within its environment, much like a building’s influence within a street.
Our process-driven studio also rigorously designs and engineers the means of production in order to achieve maximum efficiency, systematic duplication, and sustainability [hand-built plywood molding forms, acrylic-bending structures, etc.]. Using modeling softwares and physical prototyping, Noam Atelier™ develops high quality furniture using handmade techniques.
Additionally, as an architecture student, Nayberg turns to furniture to provide a more intimate relationship to his structures than one can have with his building designs. Today, along with gallery and digital exhibitions, Noam Atelier™ lands private commissions and develops signature products.
