The Nordex Group’s division North American comprises two primary markets: Canada and the United States. Renewable energies are becoming increasingly important in this region, and wind power is leading the way. The Nordex Group has been active in the region since 2000 and has two main offices, one in Chicago, Illinois – which serves as the region’s head office – and a manufacturing plant and training hub in West Branch, Iowa.
Nordex will manufacture nacelles and drivetrains for its N163 and N169 turbine models at the West Branch plant, creating more than 100 new manufacturing jobs. At our state-of-the-art training center in West Branch, our dedicated team of instructors conducts service technician, subcontractor and customer courses on our fully refurbished Delta4000 wind turbine from the “Aurora” wind farm as an independent training simulator for N149-, N163- and N155-turbine type courses.
Between these locations, and those working out in the field, Team Nordex consists of over 600 employees in North America.
