The Nordic Section of the European Regional Science Association (Nordic ERSA) is a multi-disciplinary organisation aiming to promote the advancement and dissemination of regional science among academics and practitioners internationally.
The Nordic ERSA try to promote its aims through
• Hosting conferences/workshops to facilitate formal and informal networking among members and with policy and business practitioners on issues where the potential exists for regional science to contribute.
• Encouraging members to submit papers to regional science journals.
• Networking activities to gain research funding.
• Developing web-based resources for members to re-position the section at the centre of knowledge diffusion between members and further a-field.
