Since 2011, CNS has been active in bridging the North-South gap through specialised training and education initiatives. We are convinced of the vital role of education in achieving emancipation within marginalised communities, thereby empowering those too often disadvantaged.
CNS’s work in the south, in Sub-Saharan Africa, emulates a bottom-up approach, including partnerships with local-based organisations who are representative of the beneficiaries. In the North, our work centres around uplifting refugees and vulnerable people arriving in Luxembourg, including integration programmes.
Circularity is key in our work, whether from a sustainability perspective or from the belief in participatory development. When nurtured, a single desert seed can flourish into lush green, the same holds if those overlooked are provided an even footing to those who choose to look away.
