The North-West Region of Cameroon has endured significant challenges over the past decade due to the socio-economic crisis, resulting in instability, economic decline, infrastructure degradation, and mass displacement. However, recent progress towards peace and reconstruction offers a unique opportunity to reimagine and rebuild the region.
In this context, the North-West Regional Assembly (NWRA), the constitutional local governance institution established by presidential decree under Article 62 of Cameroon’s Constitution, is convening the North-West Economic Forum (NWEF) on July 12–13, 2025, at the NWRA Auditorium in Bamenda.
Under the theme: "From Resilience to Renaissance: Strategies for the Economic Transformation of the North-West Region," this Forum is designed as a multi-stakeholder convening to drive a structured, strategic economic revival of the region.
