To start we perform an analysis to estimate the entity's value and determine the Value Gap. The Value Gap represents components of the business that are performing less than optimally and once improved will add to the entity's value. After performing our analysis and developing specific recommendations with a Return on Investment (ROI), we review the recommendations with the owner and undertake agreed upon improvement tasks. We develop documentation that will be requested by third party acquirers in due diligence and work towards eliminating negative surprises that may arise in the business transition process.
Our robust review and implementation is also well suited for entity’s looking to achieve higher performance and remain under current ownership. We don’t initiate any activity unless there is an ROI attributed to that activity closing the Value Gap and the activity is agreed by the ownership / management.
Our target market is companies ranging in size from $2MM - $50MM looking to either improve their business performance or are planning for a business transition. We will undertake these reviews even if the owner wants to use another intermediary for the sale. Since there is an ROI and agreement on every action, NorthBridge has completely removed the risk to the Company.
