Our Story
Northern Nevada Legal Aid (NNLA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit legal aid organization founded in 1965. Since that time, we have assisted thousands of vulnerable northern Nevada residents who cannot afford to hire an attorney. Our team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to the legal system and that everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
Our Vision
We believe everyone should have access to justice, income security, adequate housing, quality education, healthcare, protection from violence, and the opportunity to improve their lives.
Our Approach

Our Goal

Our Mission
Washoe Legal Services provides Northern Nevada's vulnerable populations access to justice, regardless of their ability to pay, to protect their rights, safety and family stability.
