Founded in 2001, Nosilia is a non-profit organisation based in Athens, Greece, dedicated to providing free, home-based, medical care and palliative care services to adult patients with terminal and life-threatening diseases, in particular those living below the poverty line. With over two decades of experience, we are the only organisation in Athens offering comprehensive, compassionate palliative care to vulnerable populations, at the patient’s home.
We support individuals and families through medical, psychological, social services and physiotherapy, alleviating the physical and emotional burdens of the illness.
Nosilia’s services are delivered by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and volunteers who believe in the power of solidarity, dignity, and care for all. As an active member of the National Committee of the Ministry of Health on Palliative Care, we also contribute to shaping the future of palliative care in Greece.
