Nuclear Medicine Centre is the first and the only imaging centre in Azerbaijan that performs PET-CT scanning and provides PET services for clinically related research. Our PET Centre is a centre of excellence with an international reputation for delivering the best patient care. Centre's new scanner offers the opportunity to reduce the radiation dose for scanning patients at the same time as reducing scan times and improving scan quality
The Centre develops exciting PET methodology and also performs cutting-edge research into innovative radiochemistry using in-house cyclotron and wide range of multidisciplinary expertise.
Centre has particular expertise in oncology, cardiology and neuroscience, as well as multimodal imaging.
