During the initial appointments we will spend time establishing a true picture of what is happening, we will work with you to increase your knowledge of Dementia, and help you to find coping strategies. We will ensure that you are receiving the financial support that you are entitled to. When appropriate we will carry out a carer s assessment so you can access Cambridgeshire County Councils services for carers. We will make any referrals required. We will see you as often as necessary for some that may be only once, others may need support for a considerable time to come. The Society has an ethos of person centred approach so all the support we provide will be tailored to meet individual need.
