Nyanza Evergreen Waterways provides the unique service of transporting passengers to destinations around Lake Victoria.
Our mission is “to provide safer and more frequent lake transportation to key areas in and around Lake Victoria.”
Our vision is “to strengthen the public’s perception of the naval industry by providing a safer, less polluting, more time efficient and scenic way to travel in Uganda, in compliance with all international safety standards."

OUR VESSELS
Nyanza Evergreen Waterways owns two identical motorized vessels, MV Vanessa & MV Nathalie. The boats can seat up to 54 passengers on comfortable leather seats, with the option of catching some sun on the spacious outside deck. For passenger comfort, an ablution unit, air conditioners, a TV, fridges, charging plugs, a coat rack and storage space are offered on board.
The boats are each powered by two 500 Horsepower engines and are in full compliance with all international safety standards. They are fitted with:
- Life jackets and life rings
- A 54-seater inflatable raft
- Fire extinguishers and fire hose
- GPS, sonar and radios
