National Youth Commission company information, Employees & Contact Information

The National Youth Commission (NYC) is a government agency in the Philippines established on June 30, 1995, through Republic Act 8044 or the "Youth in Nation-Building Act of 1995." Its primary objective is to address issues concerning Filipino youth and promote their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and social well-being. As the Philippine government's primary policy-making body on youth affairs, the NYC formulates and implements programs that aim to raise awareness and respond to the challenges faced by young people in the country. The 1987 Philippine Constitution recognizes the crucial role of the youth in nation-building and mandates the State to safeguard their welfare, foster patriotism and nationalism, and encourage their active participation in public and civic affairs. The NYC is tasked with carrying out this mandate by engaging young Filipinos in various youth-related programs and activities.
