With the purpose of strengthening technical collaboration in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has launched the South-South Cooperation Mechanism within the context of the regional program "SDG 9 Accelerator." This mechanism aims to support the mobility of experts in specific thematic areas related to inclusive and sustainable industrial development in the region. It promotes South-South cooperation to foster the exchange of specialized knowledge and acts as a source of knowledge that allows countries in the region to alternate roles between donors and recipients.
