The Office for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging of the New York City Bar Association works to create a legal profession that represents the diverse country we live in. Our work starts with a pipeline to the profession– we assist underrepresented high school, college, and law students in preparing for a career in law. We also support lawyers across all levels of the industry, through our committee work, leadership training, speaking opportunities, and events that build community, all in partnership with more than 160 law firm and corporate signatories to the Statement of Diversity Principles.
