The Digital Office, which reports to the General Coordination of the Mayor's Office, is responsible for facilitating the digital transformation of the City Council and the city, and for promoting the application of technology as a means to improve the efficiency of municipal services, quality of life and people's well-being.
"Madrid, Digital Capital" is the digitalisation strategy to consolidate Madrid as a city of reference in which to work, invest, study, visit, enjoy and live; where technology is the means to strengthen the efficiency of municipal and city services, the well-being and quality of life of people, attending to their digital inclusion and empowerment, and the generation of opportunities in favour of social, sustainable and economic development.
