Instead of teaching people how to speak Chinese, I want to teach people how to learn Chinese. When we are in the class, actually the study and preparation have already done. What a “TEACHER” usually do is to present the courses , explain to the student what it is, how they should consume the information so that they can digest. But I want to be more than that. Instead I want to be a good “CHEF” who is able to show students how they can master the skill, explain them why Chinese is like this, and help them go through the processes, help them practice, so that they could go back to their life and create something similar without making a big mess. So you see, my job is to analysis and understand Chinese first, then create a nice presentation to you , so that you can continue progressing. Learning and experimenting before I could bring the courses to you are essential. Sometimes, one simple grammar would take me weeks to figure out the way to explain to you. Really! making Chinese make sense to you is the only thing I care. Like dinning, learning is much more than just accumulating information. Let's explore Chinese together!
