oikos Bangalore is a Local Chapter of oikos International, a non-profit student-driven organization on sustainable economics and management. It’s formed by a group of students of Christ (Deemed to be University).
Its mission is to provide a platform where students, academia, businesses, government and NGOs collaborate towards a sustainable present and future. Moreover, we aim to enable stakeholders to share and gain knowledge within sustainable economics and management, and additionally to empower today's and tomorrow’s leaders to implement sustainability-driven solutions.
It is founded in 2019 as Chapter in Accession by Anvesh Sharma, Kankshi Jain, Salmaan, Ikshek Misri and Pushwitha, the students of Christ (Deemed to be University, Bengaluru, India under the guidance of Dr. Saba Fatma, faculty advisor at oikos Bangalore.
