The purpose of the University of Mississippi Interfraternity Council shall be to promote unity, cooperation, leadership, scholarship, service, and philanthropy amongst its member organizations, fellow Greek governing councils, The University of Mississippi, and the Oxford, Mississippi community.
While the Interfraternity Council provides many opportunities to serve, to lead, and to get involved, the primary mission of IFC is to make the community a better place alongside other councils such as NPHC and Panhellenic. Just as individual chapters offer valuable leadership opportunities, the Interfraternity Council provides a foundation upon which members of the Greek community can represent and govern alongside their peers.
