The Olusegun Obasanjo Foundation, OOF, was incorporated in Nigeria by the former President, Chief (Dr) Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) to tackle some key issues of Human Securities: Health (especially Non-Communicable Disease), Education (especially Girl-Child Education), Nutrition/Agriculture and Youth Empowerment.
The Foundation has executed projects in Nigeria, and other African countries targetted at the less privileged and needy. The Health initiative has offered Free Eyecare, Glasses, and Surgeries; Free Ear care and Hearing aids, Medical outreaches and interventions to Millions of Africans.
The Girl-Child Education project has been on-going; with current efforts to rehabilitate and equip schools in Africa. The Youth Empowerment and Agriculture/Nutrition program has been executing various projects as well.
